I am a Swedish model and performer who hates
wearing heels and prefers to hike rather than
party!
Do you prefer shoot in outdoors or indoors?
Depends on the shoot but usually outdoors is
more fun. Unless it is freezing outside, then in-
side, definitely inside, haha.
What did you study?
Art! I started drawing and painting before I could
talk.
When did you decide to work in the fashion in-
dustry?
It just happened after my first shoot that was
ment to be more for fun than career I started get-
ting booked for more and more shoots and work
within the industry.
Why do you like the model/fashion world?
I enjoy the artistic outlet and creative, unique,
crazy and wonderful souls I meet when traveling
for work all over the world.
How do you feel inside a Latex suit (or another
material) and wearing 16 cm high heels?
As said I never enjoyed wearing heels, unless sit-
ting down, haha! But I do love how they look, of
course. I love shooting in latex, it makes you look
wonderful, but latex is quite annoying to shoot in
as well, when it is warm, you sweat, when it is
cold, you freeze, the weather is never good when
shooting latex!
What do you think about Latex outfits?
I think they look beautiful, and under the right
conditions they feel wonderful. I feel like a super
villain in a black catsuit! Unbeatable. Until I have
to pee, haha.
Is it easy to stand out in this world or everything
is already invented?
It is not easy to stand out but it is definitely pos-
sible. I think what stands out the most is happy
people who are truly engaging themselves in
what they love and believe in. You can tell when
someone is truly themselves and true to their art.
What do you prefer: a normal photoshoot or so-
mething more alternative? Why?
I prefer shoots where I get a creative outlet. I
usually choreograph my own shoots, do my own
makeup, my own hair and styling. I have a lot of
input on the entire process. My modeling (and
shoots as well for companies and brands, but I
am the happiest when I get to create something
from my own mind or in collaboration with some-
ones artistic vision.
Do you do any performances or another artistic
work?
I am a performer of fire, sideshow and burlesque!
I also do makeup, styling and hair as well as cre-
ate a lot of show costumes and headdresses.
Is the fashion industry cruel with the alternative
models?
As an alternative model I manage myself and get
to choose my own work, it is not an easy industry
to work in and you have to be very driven to make
it. But it is very rewarding at times and allows its
models a lot more space in terms of what you
look like etc, than the fashion industry allows its
models.
Which photographer would you like to work with
and why?
I have a lot of wonderful photographers on my
wish list but I feel very happy and lucky to already
have such wonderful photographers in my life to
work with as well and normally try to work with
new people whenever I travel. I strive to work with
great talents and feel lucky whenever I get to do
so!
Do you think the use of Photoshop has distorted
reality?
In some ways the retouching of photographs
have had (and is having) a very negative impact
on people, but I enjoy photoshop in many ways
and am definitely glad we have it, there are so
many more uses to photoshop than just beauty
retouch and I enjoy looking at art in all forms, un
retouched as well as retouched.
What does it mean to you the tattoo world?
I feel very welcome in the world of tattoos and the
community of sorts, of tattoo artists and enthu-
siasts. I perform at a lot of tattoo conventions
and enjoy being surrounded by like minded peo-
ple.
What's your favorite tattoo and why?
I love all my tattoos for different reasons! I have
had them done at different times of my life, for
different reasons, and could not just name the
one favorite really. I am very happy to have had
such wonderful artists based in Sweden work on
me, Anna Sandberg , Gunnar Foley, Alex Mad
